Military Legal Assistance Attorney Introduction
Lawyers admitted to the practice of law in a state or territory, other than Virginia, who are serving in or employed by the armed services may apply to the Board of Bar Examiners for a certificate as a Registered Military Legal Assistance Attorney to represent clients eligible for legal assistance in the courts and tribunals of this Commonwealth while the lawyer is employed, stationed or assigned within Virginia in accordance with Supreme Court of Virginia Rule 1A:6.
