A wall certificate suitable for framing will be mailed to you as soon as it has been prepared. These certificates are each done by hand and will take approximately six (6) months to complete. You should keep this office informed of any change in your address during that time. Change of Address forms are available by clicking here.
All licensees are mailed a wall certificate. If you were licensed more than nine (9) months ago and have NEVER received your certificate, please phone our office (804-367-0412) to inquire whether it was returned as non-deliverable. All returned wall certificates are kept for two (2) years. If you were licensed more than two (2) years ago, a $50.00 fee (certified check, cashier's check or money order) must accompany a written request for your wall certificate.
If your wall certificate was received and has been lost or damaged, you may obtain a new certificate by returning your damaged certificate to us with a $50.00 certified check, cashier's check or money order. If your certificate was lost and not available for return to our office, you may send a notarized affidavit informing this office your certificate has been lost and that should you ever locate your original certificate you will return one of the certificates to our office. Cost for replacement certificate is $50.00 (certified check, cashier's check or money order).
